I have been painting with acrylics Forever and now getting in to oils my question to you is your painting wet in the wet when you’re blending your trees in the sky sky colors mix in or do you let the sky Dry first?

This video gives us the feeling of a hill sloping gently down from left to right…but the water is shown travelling from right to left and falling in the middle of the painting…the fixated brain is unable to correlate between these two opposing facts.
