I think to make the tutorial perfect you shouldn’t skip some parts of the video so I can learn a bit easier for example when you were painting the wave and the rocks. For the rest I love your painting.

Of all the YouTube painters I regularly watch, you are the absolute best at creating realistic paintings. I grew up on the coast and spent 60 years there and this painting looks so real in every detail, it’s like I’m standing there breathing in the salty air. Great job!

Kevin, I am 63 and started painting again after not doing anything since high school. I find your videos not only inspiring but amazing as well.
On this painting, "The Rugged Coast," I have 2 questions. Is this a wet on wet technique? and 2 are you doing this painting in stages, waiting for instance for the rocks to dry before painting the splash and foam portions?
