Great job.I have been watching your videos and it has help me paint better. I have had some strokes and a heat attack and took up painting to help me with my memory loss. So thanks for the little tips on painting.
Beautiful…your not just wonderful to paint along with..as you give great tips and direction each step of the way..further..there is something so magical watching as you handle..twirl the brush..when you did the sky ..clouds and added in the mist at 4:-4:15…the brush dances in hand..God bless you…
Very true, SoFAaka20. Bob taught his students the very basics of his technique – which are even different from his teacher, William Alexander – and encouraged them to add more detail and to develop their very own technique. Here, I notice that Mr.Hill appears to have done just that. Mr. Hill, in his videos, incorporates his own technique – adding more detail, using the same tools as Bob, but with his own style of painting wet-on-wet. Great work you are doing, Mr. Hill. Thank you for sharing it with all of us. (It appears you are also following William Alexander's and Bob Ross' business model to support yourself as an artist). 🙂
Your paintings are amazing. 🙂 lol I haven't tried painting a mountain before and I know im going to end up laughing at myself when I finally do. Thank you sooooooo much for the videos!! 😀
Putting snow on a mountain can be a little tricky. If the mountain is far away, then it is a very small amount of paint. If the mountain is close, then you can use a little more paint. The angle is a little harder to explain. Start with the knife handle up, then as you move down the mountain the handle should tip down toward the canvas. I have a DVD available on my website that shows how to paint mountains.
I agree that Kevin is talented. But I think you jumped the gun on those that said he is Bob Ross reincarnated. I totally took it as a compliment to Kevin. You might think about being a little more gentle with your comments.

bonjour Kevin
