When you add the white to the yellow, do you let the yellow dry first? I just can not make the color as bright as you do. I don't know why.

Kevin, your painting are amazing! one question, do you get your ideas from seeing these scenes in your mind or do use pictures, or photos?
Here is a trick, put your thin paint out on a piece of cardboard. After about 10 minutes some of the oil will be absorbed into the cardboard. Then you will have a think paint. Thin the highlight color and it should stick on the think paint. Hope this helps.
great work kevin! i started back about 12 years ago and just started again with wet on wet. the main problem i have is when i try to highlight, the paints mix and gets a muddy look. i learned that thin paints stick to thick which would make the highlights. im just using starter paints now that seem thin. should i use thicker for the back ground? i heard bob ross paints are the best cause they are made thick and the highlight colors are thin.is that true? i just cant seem to get these results.
oh one more thing. Is that black gesso you had on the canvas at the beginning? Or black acrylic?
cool videos mate. Keep them coming. I'm an oil painter myself. I've tried the wet n wet technique as well a wet on dry (with liquin original to thin paints plus that speeds drying times). You make it look easy. Mr. Ross would be proud.

I agree. I have been sick so I have not been able to paint much. I envy those who can and since he is young he has a bright art future in front of him.
I suggest that he can also ask for donations to download his videos so all can have the videos. The time for money will pass so now many people are asking for donations instead of a set price for vids. Also 1 can do both.
Thinking aloud here. If I ever made videos that is what I would do. Do as he is here on the channel as well as make them.
