Thank you for you painting techniques. But something bothers me here and it is the perspective of the top of the lighthouse. To me it seems as if the view of the gallery deck or the part with the rails seems to be from above and not leveled or slightly below which is from the viewers point of view.

You do a great job explaining what you are doing and why. Thanks!
I get so excited when I find that perfect reference! I get the joy of the little things like a shop towel making effects a simple joy. Loving the Channel!
I really love your painting. I couldnāt quite follow along as you skipped steps but I learned a few helpful techniques.
I really appreciate the almost whisper voice tone. Very pleasant and makes it easy to listen well.
This is just so lovely!! It rivals a Thomas Kinkade lighthouse reproduction on canvas that I own! I would love a DVD advanced instruction lesson on this Kevin:) Thank you so much for so generously sharing your process and talent with us!
Does the light on the lighthouse shine in the day? I see the sunshine and the light on the lighthouse?
You are soooo talented idol!
Beautiful! Thanks for sharing.
Kevin if people wipe off with a rag while OIL painting, and donāt dispose of the rag properly they could combust and start a fire. DO NOT USE RAGS WHEN OIL PAINTING.
I wish it was a full videoš
I'm new to painting and this has been a great inspiration for me…thank you.
since all are commenting on the top of the lighthouse…..what do you suggest to change it
I am going to try this with acrylics since I have not advanced to oils yet….(")
You need more practice on lighthouses that is for sure..
