You will have to change some of the techniques because of the difference in drying times. But it will work.

I am so very much enjoying watching your painting videos, Kevin! You are very talented both as an artist and as an instructor. I've been taking classes from a Bob Ross instructor and have fallen in love with your videos. They are all so easy to follow and I appreciate the fact I can rewatch them as many times as I like, stopping and pausing them so I can catch up with my own attempt to mimic your creativity! Thank you so much for doing these videos! I hope you never stop making them!
