A pattern is a sequence of numbers, shapes, colors, letters, or objects that follows a particular rule. A number pattern is a sequence of numbers that changes according to a rule, such as adding, subtracting, multiplying, or dividing by the same number. To identify a pattern, look carefully at what changes from one item to the next and find the rule that is repeated. Growing patterns increase, while decreasing patterns become smaller. Some patterns are repeating patterns, such as red, blue, red, blue. Patterns can also use shapes and colors, such as circles, squares, triangles, or different colored objects. Practicing patterns helps students develop logical thinking, observation, problem-solving, and number skills. These patterns worksheets provide practice with number sequences, growing and decreasing patterns, repeating patterns, and shape and color patterns, helping students recognize rules and complete patterns with confidence.
What Is a Pattern?
A pattern is a sequence of numbers, shapes, colors, letters, or objects that follows a specific rule or order. Patterns may repeat, grow, or decrease. By looking carefully at what changes from one part to the next, we can find the rule and predict what comes next. Learning patterns helps students develop logical thinking, observation, and problem-solving skills.

How to Find a Number Pattern?
Steps to Find a Number Pattern
Step I: Look at the first few numbers.
Step II: Check whether the numbers are increasing or decreasing.
Step III: Find the difference between consecutive numbers.
Step IV: Check whether the numbers are being multiplied or divided.
Step V: Identify the rule.
Step VI: Use the rule to find the missing numbers.

Answer:
A pattern in math is a sequence of numbers, shapes, colors, or objects that follows a particular rule.
Answer:
A number pattern is a sequence of numbers that follows a rule, such as adding 2, subtracting 5, or multiplying by 3.
Answer:
Compare consecutive numbers to find the rule. Then apply the same rule to the last number.
